Nice find! These are OEM for Honda/Acura.

edit: Even thought the product page shows in stock for shipping, they show unavailable in checkout.

I usually get the rotor + pad sets from rock auto. Even the premium ones are pretty cheap ~$100.

OEM engineering also states up to 10,000 miles between oil changes for ideal driving conditions and lifetime transmission fluid. The same OEM engineering is also pressured by executives in MARKETING to sell their products as low maintenance and cost effective. Just saying ...you decide.

Knowing car vernacular is even better. Nobody, and I mean nobody calls pads for both axles "a set". A set of pads is something for one axle. Also, BMW, as most cars, use up front pads significantly faster than rears, so there is no need to replace them at the same time. That is true for my street cars as well as race car.

But you be you.
Hey man, once I read BMW in your post I knew it was a porcupine post. Thing is, street smart is better than vernacular. I knew what he was talking about, that's what matters. So yes, he called it a "set", so there's at least one person who does. Go burn up the front "sets" on your BMW while we all talk about out of stock brake pads.

For sure these are good pads. I would get some at this price if I needed them soon or the cars were new enough to warrant being picky about OE performance.

If you replace pads often, Autozone's Duralast copper are a solid choice. Lifetime warranty lets you get new pads when needed as long as you own the vehicle. I think they do this with the cheaper ones, too. I just happen to have gotten into the top line years ago for one car when it was newer.

The last pads I replaced i went with Element R3. Found them for $30. They stop well and are clean. That car has 280k on it so no point in spending more as I will move on from that car in a year or so. They were still a fine, high quality choice.

When ordering from Rockauto, make sure to use the 5% off coupon, which you put in the "How Did You Hear About Us?" box at the bottom of the checkout. You can find coupon codes on Google search. I ordered yesterday and used this one: 242502945158201844

Luckily for me, I have not owned a BMW for the last 15 years. So, as usual, your deep knowledge and sleuth skills are as useless as the rest of your posts.

Part of the Rock Auto game is finding parts in the same warehouse.

A certain cash back site has $10 back on $60 purchases.
Bought front and back pads for my RX-350, a great price at $50 all in.

Edit - NM they cancelled the order. Waste of time.

Now what rotors you recommend with these softer ceramic pads?

I have the Hawk Performance Street pads and they are more metallic and mire friction so I used Cryo Frozen rotors.
no rotors
