Of the 20 or so she has cracked, and the one I have, in each case these protectors did exactly what they were supposed: They took the brunt of the impact and there was no damage of any kind to the screen underneath. I had to buy a "cheap" $8 ONN-brand one from Walmart last year for her (I ran out of the AmFilms and we were traveling) and when I went to replace that thing with the AmFilm it was NOTICABLY thinner and less flexible than the AmFilms too.
Their original protectors had easy-grip tabs for application which was great. Then they moved on to a system that included a plastic rim that you snap on to your phone for good alignment during application. These newest ones are my absolute favorite! You literally just clean your phone screen, peel the blue film off carefully and slap the whole thing on your screen. Then just drag your finger down the opening along the middle and 9/10 times you get a perfect bubble-free application.. Then just remove the application frame.
They also have a warranty if you register your Amazon Order # with TechMatte (Parent company) you can snap a pic of your broken protector and they will usually ship you an entire replacement box for free within one year of your Amazon purchase. I've got AmFilms on my Nintendo Switch OLED and both our car and truck's infotainment displays too!

Speck actually does sell this variant of their case in a clear as well as "Ombre" colors (they look like clear cases with swathes of red, blue or pink coloring mixed in sort of too.
In the month she had the camera bump protector on there it did not appear (as best I could tell) to affect her ability to zoom, use macro mode, flash, take low light night time photos nor was the picture or video quality affected either.
One thing to possibly be aware of is that some case manufacturers started redesigning their camera bump protector rim thingies, starting with last year's iPhone 14 Pro & Pro Max models, to shave down the bottom lip (under the camera bump) so as to not interfere with the MagSafe Duo Charger as well as several other 3rd party MagSafe chargers. It was an issue with my 13 Pro that it would not sit flat on MagSafe chargers because of the case (though it would still charge, just wouldn't snap home with the full amount of magnetic force you'd expect). These new cases most companies are putting out fix that issue.
However, because most of the newer iPhone Pro/Pro Max cases are designed with a shaved down Camera bump lip, it causes the AmFilm glass camera protector to be very exposed on the bottom. This appears to be how my wife destroyed both her camera protectors in the past few weeks. That being said, though they did shatter, they indeed protected the camera lenses... But if you crack or heavily scratch the protector glass (which is not as hard as the sapphire camera lenses themselves) it may cause degraded photo quality.
Something to think of and keep an eye on if you use the camera protectors as you may be taking poor quality photos (if you damage your protector) and not realize it until it's too late. I have similar regrets from our honeymoon as an entire day's worth of photos on the beach, and in the caves, in Belize came out horribly blurry and almost unusable (due to me having thrown my non-water-resistant iPhone 6 into a "water-proof" phone bag) that turned out to greatly reduced the optical clarity of what the iPhone's camera lens could see. Just some food for thought! I guess we'll have to go back there sometime to make up for it haha.

They also put in a full size sticker to take off small lint all in one pull. I have several of these for every phone in our home
