I've been using both eufy and arlo for years. They both equally suck. Like others said, they're not legit security.
Why they been clearancinv these? Due to problems w wifi? Bought these recently think they'd connect to my arlo hub w their own frequency. Ended up putting them somewhere w low traffic

i am not sticking up for either of these toys.
look at a reliable POE solution... dahua, hik, etc.
Friends Don't Let Friends (or fellow SD'ers) buy Arlo products....
Or in this case recommend Arlo
They stiffed everyone before when they changed to a subscription ONLY model and were spun off from Netgear. Their equipment, while decent at first, slowly loses the ability to focus properly on subjects...or they just decide to do what airlines and hotels do, and they issue a software update that lowers the resolution if you don't Subscribe to one of their plans.
Monthly subscription costs $12 a month. ($144 a year) ($1,444 for a 10 year period).
i have an older arlo, and i still have free 3 months of rolling cloud storage. Sorry to hear how it's gone down in features over the years.
The only issue I have is that the camera automatically goes into standby mode if I don't log in and check on it every month or so.
