Quick math assuming you are ok with Visible/Mint at $30/mo - overpaying by $45/mo for 36=$1620, that's what you are paying for the "free iphone".
I have an unlocked phone & pay $20 per month for service. Can't be happier.

I like having truly unlimited everything without slow downs, and home internet for $30 a month which is fabulous where I live, plus the netflix.
granted the past month or so i've finally noticed signal loss nonsense on 5G on the phone, but the real problem is IOSs "5G Auto" often doesnt work, buffering like dial up in neighborhoods with poor 5G or huge crowds, not dropping to LTE. and clearly the new bosses at tmobile are determined to delete all the radical uncarrier benefits from the public relations push to get the sprint merger. but 24 months to risk its downfall is tolerable.
basically since car warranty spam became the only calls youd ever get, dropped calls arent important. cars gps and infotainment are catching up in quality to AA and carplay. a loss of signal isnt a day ruining kinda thing it could be 10 years + ago.
so anyways, i feel im leaving money on the table using my paid off iP13 for the next 2 years than trading up for "free"

FWIW, I don't see the $50 credit promo in my cart, so I'm assuming this is in-lieu of that.

Sure there would probably be better deals around Black Friday, but I thought this was decent for now as am getting $650 for a 11 pro. Also, the rep said the pre-ordered phones should be shipped on Sep 20th itself instead of 22nd.
