The fine print says minimum qualified plan is 75/mo. That's where they get you with these "free deals" - locking you in at high monthly rate for 3 yrs.

Quick math assuming you are ok with Visible/Mint at $30/mo - overpaying by $45/mo for 36=$1620, that's what you are paying for the "free iphone".
If you live in an area which has good coverage then better buy an unlocked phone and get a carrier of your choice than getting robbed by these guys for 36 months.
I have an unlocked phone & pay $20 per month for service. Can't be happier.
What is activation fee anymore ,!! Just another fee from older times

I would want to be on magenta max 55+ regardless if i was BYOD, paying in full, or bill credits.

I like having truly unlimited everything without slow downs, and home internet for $30 a month which is fabulous where I live, plus the netflix.

granted the past month or so i've finally noticed signal loss nonsense on 5G on the phone, but the real problem is IOSs "5G Auto" often doesnt work, buffering like dial up in neighborhoods with poor 5G or huge crowds, not dropping to LTE. and clearly the new bosses at tmobile are determined to delete all the radical uncarrier benefits from the public relations push to get the sprint merger. but 24 months to risk its downfall is tolerable.

basically since car warranty spam became the only calls youd ever get, dropped calls arent important. cars gps and infotainment are catching up in quality to AA and carplay. a loss of signal isnt a day ruining kinda thing it could be 10 years + ago.

so anyways, i feel im leaving money on the table using my paid off iP13 for the next 2 years than trading up for "free"

Does anyone else see this as well? Is it in addition to the $1000 for the trade in or would only one apply?

FWIW, I don't see the $50 credit promo in my cart, so I'm assuming this is in-lieu of that.

You guys need to start adding that you will be locked in a contract for 36 months in the title. Why on earth would anyone want to be stuck for 3 years overpaying?
You do realize you can simply pay off the whole amount if you want right? You don't have to wait the whole 3 years just to pay off the phone by only paying the min amount lol just like any bill you can always pay MORE than just the min

I will just wait until black Friday and pick up at walmart, usually they have it where you get a 200-300 gift card with the phone. My XR been holding up had it since day one and didn't need feel like I needed to spend 1k for a phone when my XR was working fine but finally think I might upgrade to the 15 since I think I read this is the last update that the XR can handle. I won't buy another iphone after that until probably the iphone 20, hopefully by then they have a different cool design for the iphone 20 which would be the next one I get but I doubt there will be any changes to the look of the phone

I'll stick with my iPhone 13. It's just a phone, I can call, text, that's all that matters lol.
I still have the XR lol it still holding up but this is the last year that my XR will be able to get any new updates so I really debating on just getting the 15

I just upgraded 2 phones on my T-Mobile Magenta Amplified plan at Costco to 15 Pro Max and traded in 11 Pros 64gb. The 11 Pros were acting up and getting difficult to use. I got $650 trade in value each for 11 pro ($160 instant and remaining as 24 months bill credit) + $75 Costco gift card for each phone and no upgrade fee of $35 that T-Mobile charges.

Sure there would probably be better deals around Black Friday, but I thought this was decent for now as am getting $650 for a 11 pro. Also, the rep said the pre-ordered phones should be shipped on Sep 20th itself instead of 22nd.

Any iPhone, any condition is eligible for trade in when porting in. I'm thinking of trading in a 6s for $1000 bill credits.

Me too, I'm not an iPhone person, personally I prefer Samsung, bought an unlocked 5G and pay 25$ per month for service from TMo. Best way to go I'm my book!!

You are fine with the 12. It's the 11 iPhone people that need to be worried before you. The 12 value will remain steady until 2024
