The aspect ratio is super weird on this. Not a fan at all. 1.68:1 - right between 16:9 and 16/10, many will find this pretty poor for anything other than movies in landscape as it will be too narrow in portrait and landscape will be poor for web browsing.

barrel processor with android will lag like crazy, this tablet is trash. You have been warned.

You get what you pay for. Any $200 and below tablets are basically subpar.

I had a similar issue with a Gen 3 M10. I'm pretty sure that had the same processor as this so it wouldn't shock me if this tablet also had some lag issues. My M10 also had 4GB ram.

fyi lenovo android tablet drains battery really fast. brand new out of the box, with no apps installed, screen off, 20% per day doing nothing.

So far great tablet compared to my kids previous tab A7 lite and Tab A 8.0.

I'm still a bit wary of the battery life though. Seems to not last as long on full brightness.

The most minimum volume is quite a bit louder than the Samsungs but that was fixed with an app.

Overall imo its a good tablet for kids. If you want something better at this size and have a bigger budget, Samsung will be releasing a Tab A9, 8.7 inch with a G99 processor which is probably 60% faster as this G80 one.
