The aspect ratio is super weird on this. Not a fan at all. 1.68:1 - right between 16:9 and 16/10, many will find this pretty poor for anything other than movies in landscape as it will be too narrow in portrait and landscape will be poor for web browsing.

barrel processor with android will lag like crazy, this tablet is trash. You have been warned.

You get what you pay for. Any $200 and below tablets are basically subpar.

would this boot up too slow to use it as sort of a replacement head unit in my car? My current one has no screen or GPS...seems it would be cheaper and easier to have a permanent tablet plugged into the USB&Aux with internet thru my phone than having a new head unit installed

Nope. I bought the fhd one too and returned it. It was those specs but was only widevine l3 or didn't play Netflix in 1080p so I returned it.

Theres some lag.
The Mediatek G80 chip has 1200 gkb6 score, similar to Pixal 3a from 5 years ago.
iPad 9 has 3800 score.
Win10 tab has 2800-4000 score.Anything over 2000 score is fast and zero lag at 1080p/4k.

Slow Mediatek tablets start at $70
Fast Windows tablet that play 4k video start at $125
Fast iPad are $180-250


These Laggy Lenovo were never a deal.

I have the Lenovo p11 pro gen2 with the same aspect ratio. It is a bit wonky and takes time to get used to. Almost returned it, but now I'm glad I didn't...such a great tablet

This thing is always posted on here. It's not a very good tablet and is kinda old by now. Sure it's cheap but it sucks too. I'm not giving you better options, I'm just saying to stay away.

Get yourself a brand new iPad for $250 on sale and keep it for several years with software updates.

Samsung is going to release their 8.7 inch tablet Galaxy a9 later in this month. It has a MTK g99 CPU, 4gb RAM and Full HD display. I think the specs is much better than this Lenovo one.
