Beware before you sign up such individual seller corp account. Never give personal information. Have a separate junk EMAIL account for such company login and never give or indirectly expose any personal information. Nothing is FREE. They want some thing from you. So be smart!!!

my nitecores never work because the parasitic drain always drains the batteries

I've had the i3E four or five years and the i1R for three years. They both work great to this day. I keep them on different key chains, and while I hardly need them, they always work when I do.

FIRST Time I did it was like Playing a RPG. ROI for what you get, purse lint collector w/ soon to be Lost interface battery cord. $5 is NOT FREE, the $1 Walmart LED is Superior in form fit and function. It is very small AND just an "Olight". Take your time and $5 and put it on a real light, not one that never gets used and quickly Lost. Mine was last seem on top the dryer 2 years ago...
If your dryer runs off gas, you might want to check it for a leak. Pronto! And while you're down there, pick up your free flashlight.

I miss the days a year or so ago when they used to give you the rechargeable i1R 2 Pro for "free" (paying shipping only) even to "new" customers. I managed to get two or three for the 5 bucks shipping before they stopped doing that. I stopped buying the AAA i3E version, I have too many of them already and gave one to everyone I know. No use for more of them atm, maybe they'll bring back the i1R 2 Pro for everyone again?

I miss that too, but in this economy are you seriously going to blame them for rewarding the customers that at least some point in history gave them more than $5 on an order?

The point of such promotions is to get customers to buy what they offer. Not even throwing $2 extra bucks at them on top of a $5 shipping charge for years on end...what should we expect when the value of the dollar is tanking?

The I3E EOS for new logins is $9.99 on Amazon. Not worth the hassle to save $5 bucks.

The IR2 Pro though, that might be worth something - but that's for existing customers that spent >$5 in the past.
Got the IR2 Pro, definately worth the $5. Still annoyed that they charge tax on the shipping though, LOL

I'm not sure if they follow the correct guidelines or not, but whether shipping is taxed or not seems to be vary by state. Here is an article that mentions which states are supposed to charge tax on shipping …

$5 shipping for an i1R 2 pro is fine with me. Have those lights on all my keychains. They are small, durable, and charge USB C.
it says takes a triple A battery
