Abrasive filaments cause wear on the nozzle. If you do average printing with regular pla you may go forever without replacing the nozzle. If you do one print job in carbon fiber with a brass nozzle you are going to turn your .4 into a .5.

Glow in the dark filaments are generally pretty abrasive as the glowing bits are a granular powder.

Thanks! Got red and glow in the dark (been wanting to try that) and replacement nozzles for my Elegoo N3P. Couldn't find hardened but got enough brass ones to replace a few times for the roll.

I'm still new to 3D printing. I have an Ender 3 V2 and have never replaced the nozzles. How frequent are you supposed to replace nozzles? Or what issues do you see that would require new nozzles?

Which nozzles did you order? How often do you replace them?

Newbie warning: You should not use glow in the dark filament with a standard brass nozzle. You should use hardened steel (or other more durable nozzle) designed for abrasive filaments.

I would say if you're doing something small and change the nozzle afterwards, it should be ok. I did a few ghosts and pumpkins last year without any problems.

And that's me, the newbie. It's not worth the hassle of having to replace the nozzle. I will stick with regular colored PLA. I am canceling my order.
