I have this and the magsafe charging is convenient, but it gets too hot. Have had my phone stop charging until it cools down twice now. One time in a bag, which is more understandable, but one time just sitting on a table.

I had this and returned it. The magnet was not strong enough to hold even through a very thin case.

I got this, used it once and returned it. It got "too damn hot". It's already hot enough in August to have to sweat like crazy while using your phone.

MagSafe/wireless charging gets hot in general. My iPhone 11pro max and wife's 11pro charges slowly in our Tesla and often stops charging because too hot.

I get the same msg that it paused charging when I have my phone connected to a tabletop MagSafe charger

Pro tip: in warm / hot environments wireless charging can get too hot. One way around this is to switch to wired charging. The battery will prioritize wired charging if it's plugged in so you can still magnetically attach this to your phone for the convenience and it will continue to wire charge, helping to keep temps down at a sustainable level.

The INIU ATL was $16 and had a 10k mAh capacity although the paw led indicator was not very tasteful.

For $3 more and a 4k mAh lower capacity I'm leaning towards passing on this one.

This thing ended up swelling the battery in my wife's phone over the course of several months due to extreme heat. Granted she used it daily, but still.

I have this unit. It's good for about 70 to 80% charge. If you have issues with it "sticking" then it's the case. I had a cheaper case and it wouldn't hold well. I bought a more expensive name brand case and the magnet held well. No issues. I will say it gets hot with continuous use. It will stop charging eventually until it cools down. With that said, it's still nice to have if you know that finding an outlet to charge will be an issue or just in case. On a side note, I got mine free from a product test.

I have one of the Anker ones. 7.5W charging is painful when you're used to both 15W MagSafe or 18-20w Fast Charging via USB-C to Lightning.

I'd suggest don't charge with it while using the phone at the same time. I wish it has the battery status like the original Apple one
