Own a Roborock S7 and really like it. Their model numbering schemes are getting a bit confusing for me - is Q7 Max and Max+ an upgrade over S7 and S7 Max?

Their model numbers are confusing.
From what I gather, the S7 is a better model overall: it has sonic (scrubbing) mop whereas the q7 only has a fixed mop (the S7 can lift the mop too), and the S7 has an 'electronic' water tank as opposed to the q7's gravity water tank.
The + means it includes an auto emptying dock.
I still got one... looks like a decent vacuum for this price. I'd probably go for a dreametech L10S or roborock s7 MaxV+ otherwise (if I were in the market for a $800-1000 system).
EDIT: oh and you can also flash the firmware with Valetudo (the S7 for that matter as well), so it can be totally locally controlled (no cloud connection needed): https://valetudo.cloud/pages/gene...obots.html

Does it can pick pet hair up easily? I'm so sad for my last one!
I have heard q7 is better with vacuum. I tried s7 and it did not do a great job with long or short hair. Only thing with q7 is doens't have vibrise which detects carpet and floors. Q7 499$ in target right now
