Do you not know what rapeseed is? I can't tell if you're being cheeky or not.

It's cheap, but is it good? That's what I need to know.
It's OK. My kids will eat it but prefer anything else. It's more on the "dry" side (harder to spread) and they prefer it to be more creamy if that makes sense.

"rapeseed" oil?! I don't like the sound of that! I hope that was supposed to be "grapeseed"!
Canola was created from the originator plant which produces rapeseed. Rapeseed oil and canola oil are similar

According to the studies published by the scientist experts, hydrogenated oils are safe for humans.

It could be worse. They can at least call it peanut butter rather than peanut spread but I prefer my PB to have one or two ingredients. Peanuts and maybe a little salt.

You're probably joking but I believe rapeseed has a lot of benefits. Just wish they didn't add sugar to PB. Ruins the flavor.
What are the benefits?

i buy the peanut butter made of peanuts. No added oil.. Yet when I open it there is peanut oil... So why do they need to add hydrogenated oils to this crap.

not required, not good.

rapeseed is high in omega 6s, which arent bad in themselves but when not balanced with omega 3s and 9's, can be inflammatory to the body. the idea is to balance oils and foods like olive, avocado, macadamia oils with omega 6, but problem is most foods are made with high omega 6 oils - soybean, canola, sunflower, etc. inevitably you try to balance but its almost unavoidable and can get quite costly
Based on wikipedia [wikipedia.org], while canola (rapeseed) oil has more omega-6 than olive or avocado oil, canola has way more omega-3. Canola has 2:1 omega-6 to omega-3 ratio, while olive and avocado oils are over 10:1.

Especially these three. Palm Oil is put in PB to keep it from separating at room temperature. These oils will cause separation even in the fridge. Why would you substitute out Peanut oil if you're not even getting a benefit (non-separation) from it?

I almost bought this to put on my dogs 'lick mat' to keep him busy but the melting temperature of these oils is between -10C and -17C which means it might not even harden up in the freezer.

Why do I rarely see crunchy natural peanut butter? At least ones listed on amazon are more expensive

I'm just gonna say it, Happy Belly has terrible flavor. I've gotten several SD FP deals on HB products. ALL have had subpar flavoring. The BBQ sauce was so bad I threw it away seconds after opening.

Thier peanut butter cookies are awesome, in my opinion, which means nothing...according to my wife.
