77" A80K for 1499 is a crazy price. And there is not much difference from the A80L that just came out

I checked both Burbank and Van Nuys - they have them in-stock but for 2499.97.

Depends on how much $$ you'd be saving, and it's worth to you vs the effort to pack, take the LG back and bring and set up the Sony. I absolutely love my 77 C2, except the remote!

I believe the OLED panels are provided by LG anyway. LG is the ONLY company that makes 100% of their own OLED panels.

Finally, good luck should you ever need to deal with Sony's CS for any warranty issue!

The first place I said started saying there was some extra coupon, then seemed to change her mind. She didn't know what the coupon was.

Surprised Costco agreed to hold one for you..Never heard of Costco doing that..it's always been first come first served.

I'd get there asap, just in case!

I dont think so, 10% brighter and has a Game Menu. Not sure its worth the extra money for the A80L. They are practically the same.

Lol keep hoping, but there is zero chance you will find a 77 SONY OLED for anything close to $1500 outside of YMMV clearance deals like this. You might get a A80L (A80Ks will be long gone by BF) for $2500.

The coupon is $100 instant savings for the additional 3 year warranty. It shows up in Costco's sku system as an additional $100 discount. It doesn't come off the price, but offsets the $100 extended warranty. I got this deal for $1899.97. After watching them drop at my local Costco from $2,499 to $1,999.97, I pulled the trigger when it dropped again up $1899.97 with 2 in boxes plus 1 display. Felt like I would miss out trying to chase a better deal. Happy I didn't wait!

Good move. I was doing the same keeping an eye on inventory/price. Luckily, my store started with 10 of them at $2499 and started dropping the price every week from there. It suddenly went for $1900 all the way to $1500 so I jumped on that right away. I also wouldn't risk it with only 2 left, but I'd still keep an eye on inventory at your store. If those last units don't get snagged up quickly (they have to start making room for the A80L) they might slash the price again and you could go in for a price adjustment.
