If you are buying oled TVs and relying on built in speakers, you should probably have your head examined.

77" A80K for 1499 is a crazy price. And there is not much difference from the A80L that just came out

I found one but it's for 2499.97. Obviously it's not for the lower price the OP posted but is the 2499.97 price for this TV a good deal?
Only a prediction, the L will hit 2699 this year.

Why do the warehouses have different prices? They should minimally price match another Costco. Has anyone ever tried this?

Costco sent me a flyer advertising 2699 starting this month. Can't get anyone to tell me if it's worth biting on or waiting till BF.

Silly question, but how are you all fitting a 77" in your car? I just got a 65" and it barely fit in mine. With a 77" I think I'd need to rent a truck or van. Do you all already have a big SUV or truck?

The Sony OLEDs use the screen as an actuator. The atmos surround effect is quite impressive for a TV. I added a subwoofer via TOS for more lows, but the surround effects have been good as a soundbar surround effects.

If you have about 40.5" of width with seats down, take it out of the box and lay it on its back and slide it in. Use pillows to cushion the bottom. This is what I did with my 77" in my midsize suv.

Considering that the qn95 has a hdr peak brightness of 1900 nits and the Sony has a peak brightness of 670, wouldn't the Samsung look more impressive in more conditions considering most newer living room homes are built to let in more natural light? The LG c2 does 800 and G2 900 nits

Would the Sony be considered mid-tier in quality in the current crop of televisions except for it's processor performance?

given the specs of the TV, older technology and competition, the Sony is probably priced at fair value now.

the lowest price the 77 c2 has gotten was 1500 for floor model, so hopefully it will soon follow.

None anywhere in the Orlando area, in case that helps anyone. Sucks - was just thinking my previous TV is getting old.

No stock in any of the Orlando stores, if that helps save anyone in this area a few minutes of calling around.

Picked mine up yesterday in MN, 40 min drive each way. Well worth it! Had it up and mounted just in time for the football game. Truly beautiful display coming from a standard vizio LED tv. $1899+tax. Still 3 in box when I left!

Contrast is the reason the Sony and really any oled will have a better picture quality. Its not all about brightness, plus people mostly watch TV at night where the OLED will shine even more. Highlights will pop even if its not that bright because of the contrast, heck even in SDR highlights popped on my recently retired Panasonic VT60 Plasma because of the great contrast that LCDs can't match, I never experienced that with an SDR LCD. And I used that in my bright living room no issues as well as my new LG G2. My OLED looks great during the day with football and bright content like that. And if I do want to watch a darker movie during the day I just close the curtains, even an LCD would look bad with that type of content in a bright room with washed out blacks if you crank the brightness to cut the glare. The whole OLED is not good in bright rooms is really overblown imo.
