If you are buying oled TVs and relying on built in speakers, you should probably have your head examined.

77" A80K for 1499 is a crazy price. And there is not much difference from the A80L that just came out

Stopped at the Surprise Arizona Costco as soon as they opened. None in stock, but the employee at the front desk checked other stores for inventory. Two were in stock as the Avondale AZ location, 2 at the Thomas Road (Oak St) location in Phoenix, all at the $1,699 price. Called the Avondale store and the employee had one loaded on a large flatbed cart, ready for me to when I arrived at the store.

The was one remaining at the Avondale location, when I left, around Noon.

Thanks OP!
Were they 1500? I thought I read last night they were more at the avondale store.

I paid $1,699, which included the 5 year extended warranty, which normally costs $100.

That's correct. Avondale store is 1699 + tax, you're at roughly $1850 out the door after taxes. Includes the "5 year warranty" but they essentially ring it up for $100 and you get $100 taken off the bill. I believe all these TVs are coming with the warranty for free. So the people getting them for 1300-1500 is a real steal, but overall a good deal at $1700 I think.

There were 6 left in Spartanburg at $1499 this morning if you're up for a road trip. I picked up one earlier.

My concern is how this will perform in a bright room as well. One of the first reviews on costco.com cites this as an issue: https://www.costco.com/sony-77-cl...87782.html quote: "
The not-so-good: The TV is just not bright enough to watch in a brightly lit room - like a living room on a sunny day."
I put mine in the living room that has a 12 foot slider and the tv is bright enough.

The last one in Chula Vista is gone. Someone must have Usain bolted into the store first thing. The one on Gateway has two but they're full price, which is ridiculous
Bro that was me that picked up the last one drove from orange county lol got there at 6:40pm

Superior Colorado store still had 2 @ $1899 as of 11:30am today. Westminster Colorado store had none.

IMO $1899 isn't low enough, this TV was roughly equivalent to the B2 when it released in 2022 and the B3 was just selling for $1999 delivered by Costco.(will likely be even cheaper during BF)

Definitely would buy at $1500 if I found one though!

Depends on how much $$ you'd be saving, and it's worth to you vs the effort to pack, take the LG back and bring and set up the Sony. I absolutely love my 77 C2, except the remote!

I believe the OLED panels are provided by LG anyway. LG is the ONLY company that makes 100% of their own OLED panels.

Finally, good luck should you ever need to deal with Sony's CS for any warranty issue!
I have a C2 as well. What don't you like about the remote? I'm a fan of the remote. But i do hate the fact i have to log into my LG account to update apps
