Yes, my son loved this when he was younger. It does have suction but it is a toy so don't expect him to actually clean anything but if memory serves we were able to put down small bits of paper and other light debris for him to actually clean.

How big is this thing? I see the measurements but I'm having a hard time picturing how big that is compared to a child. The kid in question is 13 months and walking.

For any other parents out there, I recommend getting a real, functional small handheld vacuum for a child 2+ plus to play with. They can learn to perform a real task alongside the parent and the small handheld suction ones are not much more expensive than this toy which will be outgrown quickly and either donated or in a landfill.

This was a fun toy while it lasted but just be aware it has a limited lifespan due to poor charging port placement (micro USB)

The charger sticks out 90 degrees to the unit in a completely unprotected area. Your kids will inevitably try to yank the cord out while it's charging and the leverage they exert in any direction other than straight out will eventually snap the port off the motherboard, after which you will not be able to charge the battery pack anymore. I tried the unit twice before giving up due to the same kind of break. It would have been better design to just use regular batteries like most toys.

Also minor annoyance, be aware it is possible and easy to jam the adjustable height handle in backwards, which then becomes difficult to remove.

The unit is about 2ft tall, and suitable for any child who can walk. It plays baby shark as it vacuums and if I recall correctly actually has a small bin that can collect/empty what it sucks up.

Easy — this one is "Baby Shark" — so it's smaller.
