I have the previous version of this (the PPBLD100-X; new model is PPBLD100HD), and the primary difference is they moved from two large packs to four smaller ones (slightly smaller and lighter, but it's negligible). The old version charges the batteries at 65W instead of the new 60W (again, not a huge difference). Functionally the same, and I got it for $80 and have been using it for my Steam Deck and ROG Ally for months with no issues. No regerts.

Not at all. They rate Amazon giftcard reloads (only a million reviews) as a D or F. Also Solo Cups, Frosted Flakes, etc can't be trusted either according to Fakespot.

Fakespot says D rating.

How reliable is Fakespot.com these days? Anyone actually used this?

Great price from reputable brand but I hate this form factor.

It works well if you plan on putting it in a secondary pocket of a laptop bag but there isn't a good place to put it in any backpack. Normal form factor power bank fits perfect in the water bottle part of your bag but this is a little awkward.
My backpack literally has a zippered pouch for like a wallet that I keep this in. Absolutely perfect places to put this with a backpack

They're judging the reviews on the product and not the product itself.
That is why I said "They rate Amazon giftcard reloads (only a million reviews) as a D or F."

So yes, I am talking about the REVIEWS and Fakespots review of the....REVIEWS.

Unless we are saying that Amazon giftcard reloads has a hundreds of thousands of shilled reviews? Solo Cups? Frosted Flakes? Pretty sure they are doing well enough to not pay people to write fake reviews of 100 yard old cereal brands.

I'm the exact opposite. I love the flatter form factor when compared to the usual brick form. It sits in a laptop pocket with less bulk.

I have the older model and am on my second one. First one wasn't anywhere near the capacity so they sent me a new one. Buyer beware that the 20,000 mAh capacity is BEFORE electrical conversion losses. The vendor told me the real world capacity was around 12,500. My second unit wouldn't hold a charge for more than a few days and they wanted me to take videos which is when I just decided to stop using this.

When it worked, I loved it! Minus the deceiving 20,000 mAh marketing.
This is pretty standard though - everyone reports mAh capacity at 3.7V, which is the standard for Li-ion. The conversion factor applies equally to all battery packs.

Idk why SD mod advertise Baseus so much. I bought the battery last month and it's now not charging at all. It passed 30 days return window.

This is a bit steep in pricing in regard to performance. Is this primarily due to the output of 100w, which is only if you want to be able to run your Macbook/laptop without losing battery power?

Wanted to get someone's thoughts on what's the main appeal for this. Is it because you can use this 1 charger for all your devices and not bring your laptop, phone, and tablet charger? Does it mainly come In handy when you need to charge things where you may not have access to an outlet? I'm pretty sure that's it but wanted to get someone's personal experience. Thanks.
I have the first version, straight when they announced this slim battery, I got it. It only makes sense when I know I'll be using the computer for a long time and don't have an outlet handly, otherwise I'll just grab the cables.

Yah. Baseus also sells a 65W - 20K mAh version (although more bulky). If you don't need 100W output you can look for something else.

Been looking for something for remote working/digital nomad. Can this sustain working from a laptop for about 4 hours? Been looking at the Anker 737

What's making you guys go for this one over the 65W version for less than half the price? I can't tell if this form factor is going to be convenient or very inconvenient.

I've been waiting for the Anker 737 to come down in price now that their new line is coming out. But it's still sitting at $100.

Main benefit is the 100W charging for laptops and other devices that can take advantage.
