1) SUPER easy to assemble. All the nuts/bolts are pre-installed. You loosen and install.
2) The bike is very well-built. Quality parts including metal fenders and solid wheels.
3) There's nothing to break on the bike's handle bars and there's no way to install BMX style bars on this bike. To that poster I say post a picture of the break because that's a load of BS.
4) The bike is locked at 15mph as per European rules. Unlocking the bike is easy but not using the directions that were shared earlier…..those are wrong. See below.
5) The bike will hit 26-29mph depending on your weight.
6) Li batteries are not the problem with fires. Charging damaged batteries is. Also what you think you know about charging batteries is wrong.
- Charge your Li batteries regularly. Don't let them get to 10% or less.
- Once every 30 charges, purposely take the battery to failure and then recharge fully to avoid charge-memory.

What the bike does need is a suspension seat. I recommend the SunTour SR NCX. $50 on AliExpress.

If it were me, I'd go for a more premium brand that has a reputation for good customer service/repairability...
I don't know from experience what Lectric's customer service is like, for example, but I think their cargo bike is pretty sweet. The dual battery one is especially cool. If I'm not mistaken though, their batteries are not UL certified... but I guess many aren't. Not sure how much you have to spend for that and premium parts... might be upwards of 3k...
I guess it just depends on your use case and budget. If you would actually pedal the bike, it would provide at least a little exercise if you only kept it on the level 1 pedal assistance. I'm not sure how much it would help with weight loss though. Exercise certainly helps, but I think diet is probably 70-80% of the battle...
