lol..why is everyone asking to get the message PM to them? How hard is it to write a few sentences?
"Hi, I recently was approved for the business ink unlimited card with a 75k sign up bonus. I just noticed that the sign up bonus on this card has now increased to 90K. Would it be possible for you to match the 90K offer ? thank you"
Pretty good.
Before anyone asks, no you can't get a referral and 90k points. Its the 90k, or referral of 40k + new card 75k bonus.
These check 5/24 but do not count towards it.
Yes, just make up a business. Don't listen to that other guy. Just say online sales and $20k revenue. Use your name as the biz name and your SS#. Make all personal purchases. I've been doing this for years. So has my wife.

Still a rookie to the CC game here. How does one get the 40k+75k bonus? I have a Chase Biz Ink Cash card so are you saying I could refer myself for 40k points and get the SUB for 75k? What am I missing? 🤔
Do buying Gift cards count towards $6k spend - anybody can confirm?
I got the Chase Ink Biz Cash card earlier this year and bought $200 Visa and MC gift cards at Staples because every month they would have them fee free for a week. Not only did it count to towards the spend bonus but also got 5% CB since I got them at Staples. Also FWIW Reddit is a good place to get answers to questions like you have. I learned a lot of what I know from there.

You cannot refer yourself. You can use someone else's referral and it's split that way.
Strange. I called and they are requiring a document with "Computer Consulting" or whatever I put as business name which I don't have. I actually do this kind of work from time to time but its nothing official. This was never required for the past cards. She suggested I reapply with my name only for the biz name but assume that will be an additional hard credit pull as well?

Interesting. I do have an incorporated business with an FEIN and I've gotten several Chase business cards with that business already. Maybe that's why they didn't ask me for any documentation. I did spend 30 minutes on the phone and answered a number of questions about my business though and that's the first time I had to do that.
How hard would it be to get a business license in your municipality? Might be worth it as it's sometimes pretty easy and inexpensive.
I got approved for the card without referral. I will not be able to spend $6k in first 3 months. Is there anyway I can talk to them and change it to the referral?

Does the spend requirement change when it's through a referral? I think either way you'll need to spend the $6k. As noted recently, you could just buy gift cards at Staples to meet the spend requirement.

Offer is the same ($900 bonus on $6k) but person making it would get 40k pts ($400) on approval -- doesn't matter if the person applying hits their min spend or not

That's what I thought. So if the person asking can't meet the spend requirement, then everything else is moot.

And that's where you screwed up. When applying as a sole proprietor, don't get cute with the name. Your business name should literally be your name. First name, last name, maybe your middle initial if you are feeling fancy. Once you start putting anything indicating a business which would imply a real, licensed registered business, Chase up has been known to request documents as such. Sounds like you might have gotten lucky in haven gotten Chase business cards in the past, but in communities that take going after the Ink's seriously, that is very basic info.
The rep you talked with was exactly right, though you may need to wait 30 days to reapply correctly.

That and it's 90k now lol
Been buying staples and OfficeMax visas. They count.
So if you buy a Staples Visa, does it still earn you the "1.5% cash back on every purchase" or do CCards not count towards that?
I've been using the ink cash with 5% back. It's been counting with the 5%.
Suggest waiting for staples to have no fee on $200 cards or office Depot $15 off per $300 in gift cards to offset costs. They come around monthly.
