Here's the one really bad thing about this phone... When an OS or security update is pushed to it, I loose my cell network connection! I bought this phone for my mother too, and it happens on both of our phones at the same time. It's happened about 4 times in the last year. It's only after major OS/security updates, not normal app updates. A reboot doesn't fix it. You have to go into settings, network, mobilenetwork, accesspointnames and re-select the APN listed there... mine is VZWINTERNET. It's some goofy bug that should not exist, but at least there's a quick fix for it.
Anyway, even with that problem... $60 for a nice phone and a year of service and some extra talk/data/text is a great deal.

Think you jinxed me. Placed an order on new account yesterday before posting the deal. Everything was fine. Today, my account doesn't even exist!
Even tried to reset password and says account doesn't exist. Pending charge still on card.
Haven't ordered from QVC in 10 years and even then at a completely different address which we moved from long ago.
Not sure how QVC determines new accounts.
Hopefully, others will not have the same issue.
May try to have it shipped to another family members house with different email and see if that works as $35 with 1500x3 and a decent smartphone is too good to pass up.

However, you can request a change in phone number from TF citing that reason if the current number isn't important to you.
I changed it once where the caller ID of the assigned number still showed up as some previous owner and TF changed the it without issues. Luckily the newly assigned number was better after the change

These Tracfone Verizon Numbers can be port with pin code they give on website to Metro for bigger discounts on higher end phones. Just have wait till unlock before porting.
If you want MM wave or fast Verizon speeds you need a Samsung S22ultra or better.
