I originally bought the regular 15 case, and it did arrive today. But I actually decided to purchase a 15 Plus, so I will return the regular 15 case. I took a peek at the regular 15 case and it looked to be pretty good quality.

I think of MagSafe as a feature which helps align and attach accessories to the phone, and in this case, it would be the charging base. But, MagSafe is also used to attach and align other accessories, such as stands, mounts, card holders (wallets), etc. A common scenario, for instance, would be if you ever plan to use a magnetic phone car mount -- in which case you would want a MagSafe case.
