I don't plan to switch carriers.
Current phone is 3 years old.
I usually follow a 3 or so year upgrade plan.
New phone is $1199.
I either pay $1199 + tax outright, or I can take advantage of their bill credits and pay $11/mo for 3 years ($396 + original tax), all at 0% interest.
I'll await your logic.
You are getting a large discount on a phone that you probably otherwise wouldn't buy at the trade off of having to pay a phone bill you were probably going to pay anyway.
I mean If you're jumping around trying to save a buck from carrier to carrier i doubt buying the new flagship every year is smart.
