We did this deal at Best buy as we had a total tech membership which gets us free apple care on all the phones, needless to say many store reps are not aware of the process to follow the deal, I think this time the trade-in process is very different than how it was done previously... so in a nutshell, we ported 4 lines from TMobile to Verizon, one line at a time in Best buy, and no trade-in was selected at Best buy. We just opened a new Verizon account and did first line and then once it was activated, added one line at a time. The whole process took over an hour. We came home with 4 iPhone 15 pros. Then went on to Verizon account for each line and added trade-in which clearly showed $1000 credit for our broken iPhones (6s, couple of XRs and an 8plus). We selected to drop the trade-ins at Verizon store and be done with the process. Hope this helps. I am assuming Costco also had to do the same. May be not everyone is aware. We got lucky with a rep at Best buy who knew how this is done.

It's already in the selection how much max you can get per phone depending on the model. They check two things, the IMEI to make sure its not on a payment plan or stolen, and that it turns on, apparently cracked screens are accepted as long as it turns on.

Hello, I was able to grab this deal for me and my wife. We traded in our IPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 mini with $830 each for iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 pro 256gb each. We got $100 costco gift for each trade in.

I paid by Verizon gift card since we ported in our lines in 2021 and got $250 gift card each.

Do you think this is the best offer we can see for iPhone 15 pro and iPhone 15 pro max?

I have traded an iphone 5 and got the $830 credit on unlimited plus plan. Also my friend got $830 for an iphone 4.

I am on a Verizon month to month plan. Have been for over 3 years, and probably will stay with them as I am not one to change carriers that often. My plan seems to be comparable with existing plans being offered. I have an old iPhone 8 plus that is just collecting dust.

Can I be a NEW customer to get the higher discount and higher Costco card amount, and then port over my existing number to the new line?

This is a trash deal. All trade in for credits are trash deals. Your not only locked to the carrier but your locked into a premium plan. Should you change to a lesser plan which means you lose your trade….. as in it's as if you lost your trade in phone. The point is… if you must trade in. Only trade for lump sum.

I have a 12 pro on legacy 5g play more plan. I'd like to keep my existing plan, am I still eligible for the $830 trade in credit? Or am I required to change my plan to the new ultimate plan?
