Existing customer. He did put in imei and was surprised.

So I didn't know iphone 11 was required. Neither did the Verizon guy at Costco, I guess.

iPhone X or higher has been the requirement since the original deal was posted for existing customers. Even the Xr doesn't qualify.

Thank you, I just read all the terms for the entire plan and I do see it has to be 12 months minimum for the $200 switcher rebate. I plan on sticking with Verizon for at least the year then if T-Mobile is still offering the buyout, I will do that.

Only was asking because I did switch over 4 lines from a Tmobile Magenta Plan and I didn't realize how much extra Verizon's taxes add on to each line and the service is actually worse in my area compared to T-Mobile which I didn't think was possible. But on the old Tmobile plan, unless you upgraded to their top tier, you couldn't do any free phone upgrades. So I already had 4 Iphone 5's sitting in a drawer for years and this offer was worth switching to get 4 new Iphone 15's for an even trade as a new customer along with $1000 costco cash and $800 in verizon credits. Will reevaulate in a year to see if Tmobile is still offering the buyout.

I believe the credit amount changes depending on which plan you get -Ultimate has the highest credit, Welcome is very low by comparison.

What if it's cracked, boots up and works fine, but only half the touchscreen works??????? (Ironically the entire touch screen works with the stylus...it's an S22 Ultra...oops).

In the original deal, the sales guy said as long as it boots up and the battery isn't swollen, they'd take it.
Not sure it's still the case now with this new deal. I was told new lines still get this deal but upgrades need to be a 12 or newer.
