TLw, he says that it's a good deal if you can get it on sale (which this is on sale) but he'd likely relegate it to the basement as it doesn't have HDMI 2.1. That may not be a big deal for non-gamers, so this may be worth taking a shot on for some people.

At $649 with no tax or shipping cost I said why not. I have owned 4 different OLED TV's over the years (most open box Best Buy) and an QOLED monitor so I am very interested to see how this one looks. This is definitely the lowest end OLED but even with the reduced brightness it should be fine in a bedroom.
I have never had burn in on a single OLED and have sold off my older ones to roommates before I move and they are all going strong. I also use my monitor 8-16 hours a day with no burn in. If you properly use an OLED screen you really dont need to worry about burn in.
Received it, it's working well, just one issue no ARC. But not that big biggie. ARC destroyed my soundbar and tv before I hardly use it anymore. Keeping it real optical on this one. A sacrifice for $1000 less I am happy. EDIT : reading there is 1 ARC but for some reason my audio is not working. I'll have a look again. Update: yes my HDMI cable was bad, indeed has 1 ARC so all good.
Which HDMI input are you using for ARC? I am only getting stereo out, no 5.1. Any help is appreciated.
only one hdmi is arc compatible and should be labeled.
Ok I have CEC control working and getting stereo audio on HDMI 1, but it only gives 3 options for surround sound: Auto, none, manual. However no matter what setting I use it will not pass through any 5.1 audio. Anyone else get 5.1 to work over ARC on HDMI 1?
Ok, finally figured it out.. ugh. The sound settings in the Android menu do not give you all the options, you have to push the MENU button and then click more, then click sound and it will give you all the needed options for surround sound. Hope this helps some one else.

Ahh yes, our country would never spy on us or do anything shady... Keep drinking the red, white, and blue kool-aid.
This always cracks me up nowadays. "I'm not gonna get X product, CHINA is gonna be spying on me! I can't do that!" ….meanwhile…they have no issue with their own govt doing it lol.
I always say this to them… out of China or your own govt…which one you more worried about kicking down your door? That often makes them see their nonsense about 'China spying bad ddurrr" lol
As for this tv…if you need a tv and are gonna get a low end led anyways…roll the dice and get this oled. This picture will blow all leds out of the water and if you get more than 2 years out of it you are way ahead. For this price and size oled it's a no brainer

And when your home loses power due to a hack on the power grid you'll be cursing why Chinese spyware was allowed to infiltrate the country.

How do you know this? You think Chinese citizens can hold protests or even complain online when they are displeased with their government's policies?

Yup I had to go through all that too, I was running it in optical for most part then was like this is impossible and found there is arc and indeed 5.1 audio
