Anyone have any experience with this? My concern with motorized is that if the motor craps out then what?

Considering how often I would likely adjust the height it probly wont be an issue for me, but I would really rather have a desk with the manual crank handle adjustment. They don't pop up very often and when they do they cost even more...

Code doesn't work.

And looking into the exclusions, this item is specifically excluded (i.e. item # 35377).

But I'm guessing OP (who incidentally happens to be a staff member) didn't even check to see if the code worked before posting this "deal".

I've had it around 10 months or so. I really like it. Very solid structurally.

I'm not taking it up and down constantly, so I can't really speak to how it would handle constant use.

Biggest reason I went with it was I needed it for a narrow space. And this is far and away the smallest I could find at the time. Like I said, I've been extremely pleased so far.

I have a manual one that I build using an adjustable-height Husky work bench. But I'm considering adding something in my kitchen. Up for prep work, etc and then lower as a table for eating.

Great. Thanks. Any chance you can tell whether it's possible to add caster wheels so that I can move it around it necessary? Are the feet threaded?

Sorry. I've got quite a bit of weight on mine. Computer and everything is built into the top. So there's no way I can tilt my desk up.

There are 4 circle things that you can adjust the height with (for uneven floors). But I can't really get a look at them. Common sense would say they screw in and are a standard thread, but that's not a guarantee.

EDIT: Also, this thing is pretty high. So if you're sitting, it's probably at the limit of what you already want. If you add another couple inches of height, it might be really difficult to sit at. I'm tall as it is, and I wouldn't want it any higher for seated.

So even at it's lowest, it's pretty high? Thanks for your help. Oh well, I'll keep looking.

It's 29 1/4 high after I attached my wood top to it. I would think most people would already consider that higher than they'd like. I guess it really depends on how high your chair can go. For me, any higher would require a new chair.
