I had always known it as friends and family but i just looked it up on my plan and it says insider P1.
My mix up.
When I'm ready to upgrade I'll just trade in my phone to apple, then buy through apple.

that's a big deterrent to me.
Still be careful with setting up service upgrading etc at those random locations at malls and stores as those guys work on commision and will lie so bad to you it's ridiculous
I was even lied to in a T-Mobile store by a non commission employee. He told me my S23 would qualify for the $1000 iPhone 15 pro upgrade. Luckily I had another phone that did. He also told me all 3 of the phones I was upgrading would get max value and never mentioned the value limit so only 2/3 phones got max value on their tier list on this plan.. 5G go plus
Paid 2 line = $120 - 20% Insider Hookup discount ($24) = $96
When i contact customer service, They say, If i upgrade to any of the Go5G plan, i can still retain the 2 free lines, insider hookup discount and auto pay discount.
So for total 4 lines (2 paid + 2 free)
Go5G Upgrade = $130 - 20% Insider Hookup discount ($26) = $104
Go5G Plus Upgrade = $150 - 20% Insider Hookup discount ($30) = $120
Has anyone upgraded with a free line on their account to Go5G? Is the full amount for the free lines credited after upgrade? Can i believe the customer service and upgrade to Go5G? Appreciate any help. Thanks.
