If you just wanna get a new set of joycons for other reasons, this is a good deal.
It was super easy, just fill out a warranty form on their website and they'll send you a label.

I have 2 pair of repaired joycons out for delivery right now. Takes 1 week and costs nothing. Last time my blue/red were replaced and my pink/green were repaired.

I ended up replacing the sticks on my children's 2 sets of joycons as I was really tired of shipping them out. No issues in 13 months whereas I was shipping them out every 5-8 months throughout the past 5 years. Worth every penny.

If the online deal doesn't last, it may be worth checking out your nearest warehouse (also priced at $65) hoping they'll honor the price till they clear stock. My local one has plenty, though limited colors. I suspect these won't get scooped up like the recent $30 TotK deal.
For now, it's rare I'd use more than 2 joycons at a time so I may just resort to what you said and swap them out to charge every now and then 😅
If you just wanna get a new set of joycons for other reasons, this is a good deal.
EDIT: Nintendo rep said they're actually GRAY.
