I did this deal using my Windows 11 laptop using Chrome and going to samsung.com directly.

I then login to my EPP account and then logged into my samsung account.

I then added the S23 Ultra 256GB to cart and chose the S22 Ultra as trade

I then clicked Continue (not checking the Tablet bundle).

At the Checkout screen, I then go back and add the Tab S9 Ultra and add the Tab S8 as trade.

I then proceed to checkout and all discounts stick making the Tab S9 Ultra $0.00.

Many thanks for replicating. I'm sure I'm going to get a bunch of thumbs down since this deal may not last long, or it's an EPP/EDU deal, or requires trade-in

This seems like a really good deal for folks who only have a Tab S8 or S8+ and wanted a Tab S9 Ultra.

For me, I've been happy with my S22Ultra 256GB but I'm hoping the S23Ultra has a better battery life.

Was able to get this deal to work after a couple of tries. Traded S22U for S23U and traded Tab S8+ for S9U. Came out to $250 but tax in CA added $178. Still worth it for me to get a newer phone and free Tab upgrade.

Seems like a great deal if you have the devices already. I don't have the tablet nor do I really want one. So a meh deal for people that just want the phone

Edit:
there is definetly an order of operation. You need to:

Shop for the s23 ultra
Add S22 phone trade in
Shop for the S9 ultra
Add the s8 tablet trade-in

I was only able to replicate by doing the steps in Incognito mode after trying in the normal Chrome browser for a while.

First added the EPP and cashback, then added the phone with the trade in, then seperately added the tab with an S7+ trade in which caused it to be +$100 compared to $0, but it is worth it for me.

If you are okay paying that yes. The processor upgrade from the 22 to 23 is worth it and the extra RAM in the 512 model. S7 to S9 Ultra is the more interesting one, no more software updates, besides security updates on the S7, but it's a much more manageable size. However if it's the base S7 or S7FE you go from a LCD to AMOLED screen which a huge improvement. You are getting four years of Android updates and five years of security updates, however S9 Ultra is HUGE. If you are mainly using it handheld this may make a big difference, but I think the upgrades overall make the trade off worth it.

We use them for field estimates and cad designes. Showing lawn maintenance customers satellite images for square footage, highlighting each service, doing cad images of flower beds and mulch colors with real photos of the property is nearly a sure sale and very quick with these.

Wanted to use laptops, hard to beat these tho, not many options other than iPad pro.
