I did this deal using my Windows 11 laptop using Chrome and going to samsung.com directly.

I then login to my EPP account and then logged into my samsung account.

I then added the S23 Ultra 256GB to cart and chose the S22 Ultra as trade

I then clicked Continue (not checking the Tablet bundle).

At the Checkout screen, I then go back and add the Tab S9 Ultra and add the Tab S8 as trade.

I then proceed to checkout and all discounts stick making the Tab S9 Ultra $0.00.

Hope this helps.

Many thanks for replicating. I'm sure I'm going to get a bunch of thumbs down since this deal may not last long, or it's an EPP/EDU deal, or requires trade-in

This seems like a really good deal for folks who only have a Tab S8 or S8+ and wanted a Tab S9 Ultra.

For me, I've been happy with my S22Ultra 256GB but I'm hoping the S23Ultra has a better battery life.

can you tell the steps to replicate this in details ? i am not able to replicate this
I just followed the instruction in the OP.

Regular chrome tab, samsung.com/us, log in

Add S23U 512GB + trade in S22U, hit no coverage then continue and continue, skip accessories something like that. In the cart, I scrolled to the bottom and click on shop > tablet

Add S9U + trade in S8, the rest is the same

Add S9U again + trade in S7FE, the rest is the same then check out.

Note: There is a limit how many phones and tablets can be purchased via EDU account annually.

Has Samsung cleaned up their trade in scam? Last time I ever bought any Samsung product (and I was a faithful Galaxy buyer), I traded in a Note 4 for the Galaxy S9, and they claimed my Note 4 had a all types of damage and gave me nothing for it. There were people trading in brand new phones, and Samsung was claiming they were damaged.

Google "Samsung trade in scam." Read a few posts, watch a few videos, and decide for yourself.

As someone who has been watching every deal the past couple of weeks this is basically the same. Instead of giving you a free upgrade or better bundle discount they just moved it over into the offer discount. If you want the 256gb only then it might be better. I personally went for the free upgrade because I plan on keeping this phone for a while.

No, they still cheat because the trade in is handled by a 3rd company. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE PICTURES/VIDEO EVERYTHING (phone condition, operation, packing).

$534 + $47 tax. I didn't use my discover card for the 5% but didn't want to risk not being able to create the same deal again if I cancel the order. I paid $150 + traded in a 7 years old Samsung tablet for the S7FE last year.

I've used trade in with them for the last 10 years, at least 5 phones. Have never had an issue.

Idk about this deal but, I bought a s21 with a watch, traded a s20 and a watch. Got the watch and it was junk, decided to keep the watch, only thing i paid was the difference of the phone.

Phone trade was 500, phone was 700
Watch trade was 300, watch was 399

Paid the 200. So in this case, you'd pay the side total.

Maybe. That was a while ago.

That'd be complete but did you honestly think you can get these two high end devices for $250 w/o additional requirements???
