I'm unclear if you have to BUY the phone first for $999.. but in the fine print it says pay full taxes on the phone list price, maintain $60 level plan for 36 months.. (if you miss a payment or cancel you're billed the full list price) each upgrade requires trade-in and price difference (along with new phones taxes)... this is also a service that throttles after 30gb.. I think I'd pass.

Too much work. Why do Americans love financing phones?!

Because that's the only way most of us would ever chunk out $1000+ on a phone. Combo it up with the service and we're suckers for the newest toys!

Scam .
It's a 36 month lease, beware! And u have to turn in after first year to get new upgrade and a NEW Lease starts again for 36 months. In other words it's never paid off unless one keeps first phone for 36 months.

This is a super deal. T-Mobile charges you $105 a month for the Go5G Next Plan that allows upgrades every year. AT&T is even more expensive. This is only $65 a month.

T-Mobile, AT&T and others also require an eligible trade in up front, no trade needed here.

Discount applied at checkout excludes taxes on full List Price + $60 payment to Boost Infinite due today ($60 will be credited against first month's wireless service bill); requires activation & financing through Boost Infinite
Boost Infinite will charge you $65.56 per month for unlimited talk, text and data. Includes annual upgrades to get the latest iPhone every year directly from Boost Infinite.

If the phone is "Free" and you're paying $65 / month for service, where does the 36 month lease come into play? You have to keep the phone for 3 years at $65 a month in order to "own" it?

because some unfortunate people are foolish enough to only think about what monthly payments they can afford and not the actual price of what they are paying for. it's a modern day story of the wise man and the fool

Wow, imagine paying $60+ for service per month for a minimum of 36 months just to get a "free" iPhone.

Anyone know how much you can earn per month in boost coins in the boost app? And how roughly how much time that would take?

So it's a 36 month lease, but you can trade it in every 12 months for a new phone. Do I have this correct? If this is the case, it means you are on a perpetual lease as every 12 months you will sign a new 36 month lease and the only way out of it is to hold that last phone at least 36 months. It's really no different than any other cell phone deal in terms of having to hold the phone for 36 months in order to have it paid off. The only benefit they give you is an annual upgrade if you want it. Most cell phone companies will give you up to $1000 credit and some even a little bit more towards the purchase of the phone and allow you to receive credits towards that price over 24 to 36 months anyway. I see no real benefit with this. Unless you want to guarantee of being able to trade your phone in every 12 months.

The gotcha is the fact that you're paying $60 for boost service and only get the phone for "free" if you continue paying that $60 per month because you're actually enrolling in a 36-month lease agreement and the bill credits only last for as long as you retain service. And the phone is locked…

The phone isn't free. Boost Infinite plan is $25/ month, so the phone is $35/ month or $1260 for 36 months.
