FYI, if you are looking at the "FineWoven" cases, they are HORRIBLE and NOT a good replacement for the leather cases. I've used the Apple leather cases for years but the new FineWoven is the worst Apple product I've used - after just a few days it's already permanently dirty, has a ring of little metal particles embedded in the shape of the magsafe ring, and I've dropped my phone more in a weekend than I had in the past year because it's so slippery.

The FineWoven cases are so bad that Apple has removed the review feature from the Apple Store site, and Amazon is limiting new reviews because the reviews are so negative.

i dont know what you mean by fine woven..? but i agree with the newer apple leather cases being total shittt..!
most its just some leather lookin stuff spread over a plastic case ... not a full grain leather like my 6splus apple leather case was
and more annoyingly they constantly slip a little and click off your notification button ... ..!! :/
and the leathery spread over the plastic case chips away easily and a slippery ... i have had similar experience on both the 12pro max and 12 pro..!
the off brand ones look good but they often miss out on the magsafe feature... and too expensive

fine woven is what apple is going with now. they are discontinuing the leather cases moving forward. check it out on the apple website under accessories/phone cases for iphone 15.

Haha, still clinging to my 12 mini as well, hoping Apple gives me an upgrade path, the money is burning a hole in my pocket. There have been multiple deals like this over the years. I've got a couple spare leather cases already, but I couldn't resist these. At least for me they wear quickly and I need to swap them annually.

unfortunately, Apple replaced the not-the-best-but-workable leather cases with the totally horrendous "FineWoven" cases that literally feel like they are made of styrofoam and give you the same nails-on-a-chalkboard weird feeling when you touch it 🥴

The original Apple leather case has been the one for me for the past several years. It just feels perfect in the hand--grippy enough but not too much like silicone cases.

It's a bummer that Apple is discontinuing them. I had to buy a few extra ones for my 13 pro.

I suspect these will sell for $100+ in a few months once everyone realizes that the recycled pleather shit cases belong in the trash.

Been using my fine woven case since the 15 came out. Zero issues and I feel it's better than the cheap leather they use. To each their own, I guess.

The quality of Apple's leather cases has been HORRIBLE since the iPhone 12 came out. The leather is paper-thin and gets stained incredibly easily before wearing away from the corners exposing the colored plastic underneath.

These cases are trash and aren't worth it at any price.
