Over $40 for one burrito and one quesadilla... and that's with no delivery fee! Sheesh... no thanks.
The dasher who delivers your order needs to eat too. And with $5 gas, auto insurance going up through the roof, the delivery costs alone are around $3-4

Yes I know, everybody needs a cut. It all adds up real quick. And my experience with DoorDash in the past has been less than spectacular... even with the high prices (because one should expect better), so I never use them anymore.

I'd rather not support food delivery at all. I think we'd all be better off (including the underpaid drivers) if this just went away.

the markup is still ridiculous and the dasher's take might be as little as $2. i delivered for Uber Eats briefly and the offers do come in that low. they basically have you working for tips. drivers are basically waitstaff with more overhead. this is why i only order from these services when i don't have access to a car for whatever reason
This is silly. If you are sitting at home ordering Doordash why not just pull out a frying pan and make your own quesadilla in about 5 minutes. It will taste better too.

LOL.... 99.9999% of people cannot make a quesadilla that tastes better than Chipotle in about 5 minutes.
Hell, even if I had an hour I don't think I could do it... maybe if I first put months of cooking experience and testing in first though.... but I have more desirable things to do with my time. Maybe one day I will enjoy cooking but not today.

Challenge accepted. Right now I have better meat, cheese, and tortillas in my fridge plus I know it's ecoli free. Not to mention the fact it's still hot. Let's see how hot that quesadilla via Doordash is especially if you don't tip well. Cheese will likely be fully congealed in the 45 minutes it takes to get to your front door.

So I bet it already took you longer than 5 minutes to acquire the meat, cheese, and tortillas and put them in your fridge.

Nah, all part of the same grocery trip so maybe 30 seconds extra. I see how you conveniently ignored the rest of my post though. Wonder why? Have fun paying $15 in surcharges for a mediocre $10 burrito and cold quesadilla.

No extra charge for meat choice, but still extra for guac or queso.
I ordered carne asada and it took off $16.45
