Not bad or anything but the 5 ounce 24 pack of chunk light is still available for $14-$16 which is a much better deal as that is 120 ounces of tuna (minus water I suppose).


Edit: Though I should note this is premium albacore and that deal is chunk light.

The difference between Chuck light tuna and albacore tuna is like the difference between Amazon brand coffee and Lavazza. Night and day. I can't even stomach chunk light anymore... 8- 5 oz cans of Bumble bee albacore is $15 on amazon.Amazon. a 40 ounce can is $14.xx.

this is a pouch with no can taste. big win in my book.

How much water is in it? What's the DRAINED weight?
/edit the big can goes from 66.5 oz to 48 oz
I don't eat the stuff but it's listed as in water.

it says there are 21- 56 gram servings = 1176 grams of tuna = 41.5 ounces

the 48 ounce can has similar notation. doing the math, it is clear the water doesn't count.
