Maybe at $10, this would be fine if I was feeling especially lazy one day but for me I don't like pasta enough to ever pay $14 for it unless it was amazing. Considering you can make more pasta than you can eat in a day for less than $5 and 15 minutes, that actually includes some kind of protein and an equivalent sauce, (30 minutes if you want to make a sauce from scratch that blows OG out of the water) this just feels like a bad deal. I just can't justify paying a $1 a minute to have someone prepare me mediocre pasta. Maybe the appeal is in the soup and I'm just not a soup guy.

soup plantation is much better, I really miss soup plantation. their soup were so good, salad is fresh and amazing, and you get to customize whatever you want. Plus you could pick up the food yourself, without the annoying OG waitress and highly encouraged tips.
My family miss it too, it was the only healthy place we love going to. I wish someone would buy the name and recipes to bring it back.

Can you switch up on the pasta dishes?
(Og server here) Yes, same goes for the topping as well. Btw, the first plate will be a dinner portion. everytime you get a refill, it will be a lunch portion (including the topping). If you rly wanted to, you can ask for a refill even when you are full and ask for a Togo box to take it home. This including their unlimited soup or salad is hella worth it imo.

Save yourself from food poisoning and poorly managed food. Not worth it. Buy yourself a frozen pasta dish instead if you don't cook
Have been occasionally trying Rao's frozen entrees with a decent step up from lower cost frozen entrees (looking at your stoffers)

not a good deal, my local all you can eat Chinese and Mongolian is only a few bucks more and you can have all you eat proteins instead of just the super filling pasta and soup that cost a lot less than proteins.
True SDer want to fill up on the protein, not the cheap carbs.

So then where is the deal on the plane fare to get to said Chinese/Mongolian?

What's with all these bonehead anecdotal comments? Not everyone lives in a place that has YOUR options.

My biggest irritant with this is that the toppings are usually around $4 -$5 now where I live.
My local spot charges $9 for three meatballs as a side. This is unlimited refills so the cost of adding meat seems reasonable. What does adding protein to a salad cost?

Last time I did this, my expereience was exactly like QuiN5585 said. I was offered b to take home a serving.

My local Aldi (and Costco) carries the og OG salad dressing. I have some on my pantry shelf, purchased from Aldi.

Try Amy's. It's healthier and taste pretty good as well!

I might be an unpopular opinion- Not sure if it's always been this way but their food taste microwaved. Bread 🥖 sticks aren't the same as they used to be.
I know some people love Olive Garden but their quality has suffered.

It's been 25 years since I've had endless pasta at Olive Garden, but each subsequent plate of pasta got increasingly smaller. I guess if I have any advice, get the one you want most, first. I can't imagine with the economy it's gotten any better. In fact, there are probably other tricks they've implemented into this deal I'm unaware of.
