in NYC, you cant even get a loaf of bread for $14, let alone an all you can eat meal like this. definitely a super slick deal in this day and age. just had a burger and fries for two at an astoria joint with a friend. $54 that included tip. they charged $7 for fries and $15 for the burger each.
5 guys burgers and fries was $32 for one fry, 2 burgers and no drinks. 54 seems solid.

God I miss the pasta pass, I was one of the lucky hundred that got it the first year, and that was the best year of my life lol
I won two pasta passes that first year and my wife and I ate a ton, mostly takeout, for the weeks it was on. I think I gained like 20 pounds just from that 🀣. But it was delicious and hard to pass up all that free food. Only negative was at the time the closest olive garden was like 15 miles away so it was a little account but the end lol.

I would like to see you find a pound of pasta for .75 at today's prices even on sale.
The store brand is $0.99 regular price, $0.88 on sale.

I think the first one was 8 or 9 weeks worth, and I certainly got my money's worth out of it! There was a lifetime one on ebay for $1500 when they offered it to those lucky few fast enough to get one, I should have picked that up I would have saved a fortune on food LMAO

And before you health nuts ramble on about the health implications, I was mostly eating salad, drinking water, eating the proteins and skipping the pasta! It was practically a keto diet.

Does the basic $13.99 price include any meat? Or meat is considered "added topping"?

That would be a topping and I think it's an extra $2 but not sure on current price.

So $16 + tip = no deal. Not counting the salad and bread sticks we can do this much
cheaper at home and feed way more and have leftovers.

Try $5 to $9
