The soil meter is absolute trash. I used pH meter and it killed my plant. Whatever I tried to measure, it gives me a reading of 1~3. I should have tested it before trusting it.

I'm disappointed that Sun Joe didn't make an offshoot brand called "Joe Dirt" for this product.

Jokes aside, soil meters are pretty worthless. Control your PH by adjusting the water/nutrient solution to the proper PH, and check for moisture using your finger or by picking up the pot.

That may work for potted plants. The soil in my garden is alkaline. I want to know when I've added enough acidifying agents.

That's a different product. It doesn't have the shutoff.

Biggest problem I see with the hose is that it's only a 1/2" diameter. Most decent hoses are 5/8" or 3/4".

Fair enough. Make sure you research these PH meters before relying too much on them, they are notoriously inaccurate.

I've never used this brand but used other ph/moisture/ light probes exactly like this. no they do not work. use your finger for moisture. reputable ph pen for PH and a PAR meter for light

Pretty sure the soil meter didn't murder your plant. Was there anyone else around that might have had murderous intent? Did your plant have any enemies?

I think this is a PH meter frame job.

Looks like the blower has similar specs to a datavac but at 1/4 the price, kinda tempting for PC cleaning
