Meh, basically they doubled the price on days people like to travel (Friday/ Sunday/ Monday) and made a very FEW of those days 50% off.

I looked at multiple weekends between BWI-DAL and all the undesirable days (Tuesday/ Wednesday/ Saturday) were $99 each way regular price and not on sale with the code.....Fridays were $188 each way but a small number of them were now "on sale" for $102 with the code.

I got over 10,000 points back on a flight in November by applying the code so I guess YMMV

There are some good deals to be had for ski season. If you're considering skiing in Colorado this year, you can sometimes get much cheaper airfare to COS (Colorado Springs) than DEN (Denver). If you're going somewhere like Breckenridge, COS might be the same drive due to I-70 traffic. COS flies direct to more places than you'd think on Southwest.

For those who are saving money rebooking, are you canceling your first trip and then buying the new one or are you changing the flight?

I'm assuming if you are cancelling you are just getting the money back in flight credits, which I don't mind, just want to know which route people are going.

Worked for me! Thanks, OP. Smilie

I had been looking at OAK>HNL flights for the past couple weeks, and it didn't seem that they jacked prices up in connection with this promo.

I hate when they do sales that require coupon codes because the other airlines won't match

Is this extremely limited? I tried flights to Nashville and the promo applied. Same dates but to Ft Lauderdale and Tampa and I get an error message:

The promotion code is not valid on your selected fares, airports, or travel dates.(Promotion travel dates 10/24-03/06. Find promotion detailshere)
Inventory has run out on this specific travel date or airport pairing
The fares displayed below are lower than those available with the promotion code.

I believe the function on website (possibly easier than app?) is to change your flight/leg and it shows you the current prices(i think you have to make sure to add the code to populate the best pricing). Then the entire schedule will show you + or - amt/points based off your original fare… and then change flight accordingly. Any - differential gets credited back as i believe flight credit.
Cancelling completely then rebooking could open up possibility of no seats left if there's only x left at get away type pricing.
