Reviews are not good on Amazon. Apparently, difficult to connect to Wifi and the mop drops off easily. All the reviews on Walmart were "collected as part of a promotion".

Roborock makes a pretty damn great vacuum/mop combo now. It's quite a bit pricier though.

someone explains this to me as far as robot mopping no matter what brand. i mop my house almost every other week. i use about 3-5 gallons of warm to hot water mixed with some cleaning chemical. now all that dirt build up i have to take it out to the mop bucket and wring it out cause no point in mopping over and over with a dirty mop. how are these robot affective if the pads get dirty and wet and it's going to a new spot with that same dirty wet pad.

I don't know about this one specifically but the one I have cleans 3 rooms on a single pad and I've never seen it leave a dirty streak behind. Does it get heavy spots like dog mud prints? Not 100%. But it definitely helps with the cleaning and the water use. Especially since I run it when I'm at work.

Tldr; It's an automated wet swiffer system that loads new pads on its own.
Not worth $177 to me but it's an interesting use of tech.

Well, firstly, a robot mop at least of today have no feelings or moods so they cannot be "affective" even if they go to a new spot with a dirty pad. But they can be effective, in cleaning, because they don't do as you suggest they do. They DON'T go to a new spot with a dirty pad. This particular bissel robot goes to it's base station and swaps out the dirty pad with a clean pad, THEN goes to the new spot. So to summarize, if it is functioning correctly and being used correctly it will clean one area or spot, go to the base and swap the dirty pad with a clean pad, then go to another area or spot to do the same with a clean pad. But no matter what happens, clean or not, it has no feelings or moods so cannot be affective.

youre 100% right, my brava leaves mad streaks all over the tile; the only way around it is to program it torun the same route several times over and over. its a terrrible design strategy

The difference is you have to use this everyday instead of doing often. Or else whatever you said is true
