I wonder how many times they want me to buy this on PC? I bought it once when it first came out. Damned if I know how to play it though. After Games for Windows Live died, my Steam copy just vanished and never returned. These criminals have zero integrity and they don't care if they outright rob you.

I bought and played through some of this recently and GTA IV shows its age gameplay wise. Still looks good and story / presentation will always be top notch. Just the mechanics, in game interaction, shooting etc is SO 15 years old. Not game breaking but I didn't feel it was worth the effort to more modern games or even GTA V. Would be epic if they could do a remaster which modernized the jank. To me it is like like playing Witcher 2 after Witcher 3 (which I did). May be worth the effort but know it will not be a smooth ride in comparison.

Plays perfectly on Steam Deck.

Yes, plays natively on the Steam Deck, no changes needed and just like the Xbox.

I did tweak controller settings to my playstyle to activate gyro when using the left trigger so that way I had gyro aiming but gyro did not interfere the rest of the time. Honestly I do not mind gyro in 3rd person mode (running around like normal) however I just could not get use to driving with gyro on all the time so I made holding the left trigger (aiming) the toggle.

*Note: gyro is NOT a requirement and nor activated by default. I just love gyro aiming.

Open a support case with Steam. Just because it was delisted doesn't mean you do not 'own' the game any longer. Sounds like a fluke. Once purchased* on Steam it is yours unless something extraordinary happens.

*I am using "own" and "purchase" loosely here as these are digital items that consumers do not really own, just lease the rights to.

I second this. I "own" delisted Steam titles on my account and they were never removed. Sounds like an error on Steam's end.

Just a heads up - frame rate needs to be capped at 60 or else you'll run into physics and camera glitches. Recently replayed this collection and ran into this problem.

Second the gyro aiming. The worst part of a controller is shooting & the worst part of M&K is driving. This game feels as if it were made for controller + gyro aim, it just plays so damn well.

I don't know the case but even with Marvel Avengers current "delisted sale" the game is yours as long as you pull the trigger before it is pulled off the market place. I personally have a few games that have been delisted* (mostly games that have been replaced by newer versions but old copies didn't grandfather) and still have all of those.

Still a weird situation. The only circumstance I could think of would be where a game ownership was transferred from one service to another. That happened once to me with Doom 2016 when Bethesda.net shutdown and all their DRM stuff moved over to Steam. I personally welcomed the change but not to say some people didn't have issues.

I don't think this was the case with GTA 4, the issue was Rockstar couldn't issue keys anymore due to Games for Windows being discontinued. Definitely a strange situation regardless.
