I'm pretty sure they're trying to move old inventory: the sprayer mechanism is pretty bad. It either sprays too much, or gets too runny and the entire can along with your hand will be coated in the stuff. They must have transitioned to a better sprayer because these are awful.
The liquid is probably ok, however.
