For like 20 bucks more you can get the gen 3 fuel drill and those batteries and charger. Or 60 you can get both gen 3 impact and hammer drill as well as this stuff.

I'm not able to cancel it online. Either I have to cancel the whole order or manually do it at the store.

how important is it to get the high output batteries for the m12 tools? i know with ryobi it makes a big difference. not sure if i should hold out for a deal on those instead.

I have to get customer support to chat in order to cancel one of my items from entire order because online you cannot cancel one item only. But it is not free it's just half price.

Yea I ran into that with the fuel ratchet deal I also purchased yesterday, it wouldnt let me cancel the 2.5 and 5.0 batteries by them selves so Im going to return them in the store when they come today. oh well only 1 item to return.

Depends a lot on the tool, I haven't had any issues but I don't own any high drain M12s like the stubby impact. The 4.0 should be capable of pretty high output anyway, aside from special chemistry/cell selection the general rule of thumb is more cells, more power (the big batteries have 6 instead of 3 cells) and the lower the capacity the higher the discharge rate (I don't know that the 4.0 is actually any better than the 6.0 but it might be) the new 2.5 and 5.0 are presumably (and seem to bear out in testing) made with specially selected cells. The 2.5 seems to perform near what the 6 cell XCs do and the 5.0 is probably more power than most current M12s can use based on the results I saw when I did some research. The 2.5 compacts are definitely nice, but if you're not worried about the form factor the 4.0 should do the same jobs for the most part.

Thanks for the reply. My m12 lineup is exclusively for mechanic type work... so at this point i have the power ratchet and the stubby impact... so in my case, maybe its worth it to get the extra power.

not sure if the cordles ratchet also gets more power from the HO batteries, but if the stubby does, its worth it, because ive found the upper limit of that tool a couple times.

Was tempted by the rotary tool, but the new Fuel version is coming out in about a month. And the current one seems to get quite a few bad reviews regarding durability.

You can only cancel if Store Pickup. If not, you can only return in-store for a refund.
