When I looked earlier, it was OOS for shipping and not available at my two local stores. It's not been in my local store and usually OOS online for the last many months. Paying shipping kills the deal if you find it available online. This was a front page deal months ago that's been dead most of the time. It's a deal if you can find one in-stock at your local store which has been difficult to do for months.

Not a tech person so I might be giving a bad misleading source. Model number is different (U46).

Edit: Rambling, going off tangent here. Playing around with the score rating setting, the top models vary from high, short starting speeds and dropping down from thermal throttling I guess or tech limitations. Then there are slower but sustaining speeds (I guess from tech that allows longer writing/reading speed durations). Knowing nothing about usbs to still knowing nothing but that they aren't all the same like everything in life makes choosing the right one for people's own situations infinitely difficult beyond just transferring data or using a usb.

1. From what I know ssds are better, faster and cheaper for data.
2. I use the USB because it's said to be the most straight forward, easiest, least time consuming, compatible way to install windows. So that's why they're still used instead of ssds I assume.

Just ordered one for shipping right now at 3:14am. I have walmart+ so I get free shipping.

I checked this a few hours ago and it was out of stock. Every time I check slickdeals for a usb drive deal the deal is usually dead. Randomly checked this again and luckily I got an order in.

Got walmart plus now for self check out and paramount and sams gas and free shipping and deliveries. Not renewing our sams membership next month.
