1) If you're planning on using a dock, be careful that lenovo will prevent system start up when connected to dock with an error message that there are insufficient USB C power for the laptop. you can bypass this message by clicking "ESC" but a minor inconvenience. I usually keep the laptop undocked when not using. My doc (WD22TB4) provides 100W of charging and is able to keep the laptop charge during use, even with the RTX 3050 active.
2) When i first got it, my laptop have a huge issue with battery drain during sleep (100% drain after 3 hours of sleep.) I was able to determine that the problem was due to AMD AI Noise Suppression software. Disabling that and preventing it from starting resolve the sleep bug. Reinstalling AMD drivers did not resolve the sleep drain, and unsure if reinstalling windows would have resolved the issue as i did not do that. Not sure if this issue only affects my specific laptop.
If you're having the same issue, you can generate a sleep study report (cmd (as admin) -> powercfg /SleepStudy ) to generate a report on which processes is draining battery during sleep.
Hope this helps. Overall, great laptop. Love the keyboard typing experience.
Thank you for your service!
