Tried going in NJ, the wait was more than 4 hours. It was almost a stampede.

The tickets are good for nearly 3 months, so might as well wait until the rush is over. FYI the emailed confirmation says, "Tickets can be redeemed on any day, not just the day that you select. Promotional/Discounted tickets expire 12/31/2023."

Last year when SeaQuest had free tickets, I requested them in October, then used them in January the next year (Folsom location). Getting in was no hassle at all, and the place was nearly empty. My then-2-year-old had a blast, but it's not something I would've wanted to pay for, haha. But for free, it was great. They even had signs up advertising ways to get free tokens (e.g., answering trivia questions, signing up for their email list). I signed up for the email list on my phone, got my free tokens from an employee, and my 2yo had the time of her life feeding some fish, lol.

That said, I know they eventually expired those tickets without telling anyone, but the problem was they never had a stated expiration to begin with. I'm hoping they won't randomly expire these, considering they do have a stated expiration, sort of (either 12/31/23 or 12/21/23, depending on where you look - so it's probably safer to just assume 12/21/23).

Drove down to Fort Worth and took advantage of this deal just a couple of weeks ago. 50/50 experience. Check in is pretty awful, there is a qr code you scan to get a digital place in line, but the number didn't update after waiting two hours in the physical line. The physical line wraps around half the mall, I recommend bringing your own snacks and drink. Once you make it in the facility and purchase your tickets, you will quickly realize the quality of animal feedings is less than ideal. They had Bengal House Cats? Common Chickens? and Catfish. You will be in and out of the quest in less than 30 minutes unless you get suckered into buying from the giftshop which will take another 20 minutes of standing in line.

After you leave, there isn't anything else to do at that mall so plan accordingly.

This place is such a ripoff!

This "Free" event is anything but that. It's $5 for each person on weekends, then it's an arm and a leg to feed their animals for them for free( no pay) for your work. They should pay us to feed their animals! LOL.

The place was small too. If I would have paid the regular price, I would have taken out my pitch fork and torch.

They sure suckered us.

But…. "There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again."

Went a few weeks ago. The kids had a ton of fun.

The annoying part though someone else hinted at. We got there when it opened but you have to scan a QR code to get in line. We were 16th in line, no big deal. It took an hour to get in. Found out the reason when we finally got in. As people came up to get in line and scan the QR code, they offer them a year 'membership' for $15. If you pay the $15 you don't have to wait in line and just get in right away. So while I was 16th in line, tons of other people were paying to just skip the line. I didn't even know this was an option until it was too late.

Aside from that, it was decent enough, wasn't nearly as good as going to a real zoo or aquarium but since the tickets were free it was definitely worth going.

The Sea Quest here in Vegas was okay for my kids when they were younger. We bought the annual pass and even went back a few times. Definitely not a zoo, but you get upclose and personal and we all loved the giant Tortoise that walks around the whole place like its nothing. Sounds like some locations are better than others.
