Not sure why the TDs. Beats all the recent deals on i5-13400F based desktops (even the FrontPage Skytech one). Maybe this should be the FP deal instead.
The Lenovo on eBay? That was a very limited quantity deal and probably a crippled motherboard / BIOS as well. In any case, good luck replicating it. A unicorn deal should not invalidate another solid deal.

I know nothing and this looks pretty good. Ive been seeing a lot if laptop deals lately but not many desktop, and def not liquid cooled.
What do the pros say, wait for BF? Or dive in?
It's a good system for 1080p gaming, I have been looking at prices and this is one of the best deals. What will happen black Friday, I don't think it's going to get that much better, it's a chance we have to take.

Thanks for the response!, I'm looking for a rig that can do ultra wide 2k (WQHD) gaming well.

This definitely can do 1440P. I ran a 3060, 3060 ti, 3070, and a 4070ti on my samsung 34" ultrawide 1440p monitor at 75Mhz. I play Apex Legend and never had issue.
3060ti is a couple frames shy of a 3070.
The 13600kf benches higher than a i9-12900K on some tests.

I would say this GPU is "ok" at 1440P and just fine at 1080p. Most modern games a system like this will run between 30-60fps @1440p. Closer to 30 for stuff like Cyberpunk and Hogwarts. Closer to 60 for older/lighter games. Don't plan on RT (why bother) or upgrading to 4k and a 3060 should be acceptable for most current games.
Edit for me not being able to read what I'm replying to: UWQHD pushing more pixels, the 3060 would prolly drop under 30 for several modern games and not get close to 60 in many more.

I think it's good in the fact it has a good components like faster ram than most 3060 builds, liquid cooled i5, 750 gold psu etc. You can always upgrade the card and cpu later and get more ram in the future. It's just if you're one and done, this build is a little high.
Torn here. Been contemplating a new desktop and there hasn't been crap for deals for the past month it seems.
I have a 4 year old Ryzen 5 3600 (which this I5 kills) and a 2070 tri frozr (which the 3060 is only about 5% better than). Probably need to hold out for a better card to make it worthwhile, I guess.
i remember there is a deal i712700 +3060 just for $600. so why is this a good deal??

If I want to run fortnite at 4k on my oled, and I don't have 4090 budget, will a 4070 do, what about a laptop with a 4070? It's a sony a80j 77" so I'm not sure if mine will do over 60fps.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy another iBuyPower after the last one I got at Costco. That being said, be ready to replace the liquid cooling. Mine just crapped out after a couple years. It made a loud grinding noise. Decided to just replace it with a traditional heat sink.

Because its not a great deal, you're just looking at it backwards.
Gaming PCs aren't "x price for y CPU" so much as "x price for y GPU" and we've seen a lot of 3060 systems for well under $900 this year.
Putting enough CPU and other components to make a 3060 system technically worth $900 based on parts, just makes it an unbalanced system for the price, thus still not great.
The skytech deal isn't really auper either, but it is $50 less with a 4060 instead of a 3060, which definitely makes it better than this one. The RAM difference isn't that big a deal at this performance level.
