How can it be less than 14" high when an upright LP record is already 12" tall? The 27" measurement must be the height. 20.75"W x 13.75"D x 27"H is probably more accurate.

I can't find any confirmation that it's made of oak. Just a color named oak. Any and all websites (Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Kohls) just say "wood"...

My gf and I each got one of these (at $25 and $35) a while ago. Really love the aesthetic, and it's pretty high quality, especially for the price. Highly recommend.

The pictures on Amazon confirm that the shelves are MDF/pressboard with a thin veneer. Legs are probably pine.

In for one, perfect for modern Victrola and speakers already in place. Photos on Amazon for the other colors (not Espresso) show the correct dimensions, as you surmised.
