What makes this noteworthy is the developer, Dene Carter, is an industry veteran who is credited as a co-creator of Fable, worked on Dungeon Keeper, Populous: the Beginning, etc.

Splattercatgaming did a video on it recently and it seems like it's a cut above your standard freebie, especially if you're a fan of old RPGs.
