Also people complaining about VRR have no idea how it actually works (not accusing you or anything just a general observation I'm seeing).
VRR is useful for syncing your FPS and Hz, preventing screen tearing and saving a bit of energy. However, it's not a necessity. Even without VRR, a high Hz display, like 144Hz, still offers a fast and smooth visual experience, showing new frames quickly. Pro gamers sometimes skip VRR to get info on the screen faster. Also, there's no need for a perfect match between FPS and Hz; a high Hz display will show frames fast, regardless. While VRR can be a nice to have, it's not essential, especially for handheld devices with high Hz screens.
