Not worth it unless free. Their website is horrible to navigate and usually the driver decides if they are going to follow your preferences or not.

This came in handy! Had some freshly roasted coffee being delivered by UPS this week and I was going to be away and UPS was going to charge me $5.99 for each package to even pick up at a UPS Store. Saved me 2 bucks and I have this service for a year.

I'm glad it helped you. I have signed up for this subscription a few times before and I think it is worth it at least for me. All your UPS SurePost packages that are typically delivered by USPS are upgraded to UPS ground which is a nice feature. I signed up every time they had a deal on this.

I have the offer but my UPS membership is good for another year. I'm not seeing an option to renew early.

Thanks OP! I paid the full price (19.99) in Sept because I could not find any promotions and had to use it for an incoming package. This Amex promotion just extended my expiration date into 2025. One thing I learned about UPS My Choice promotions is that they pop up randomly and with random lengths of membership ( 2 months, 6 months, or 1 year). Now I will use any my choice deals I see since it will extend your membership expiration date.

Thanks OP, signed up again. Wasn't there a way to upgrade UPS/USPS sure post to UPS or does this not exist any longer?

Edit: found it. Not sure if that is still free but I found the settings.

So you may be SOL, unless you feel like canceling and restarting.

Yes, it's still "free" with the premium membership. That and the ability to have packages delivered to the UPS Store are the only reasons to have this. The option for a two hour window two times or whatever has never worked for me. Still comes well past the regular 4 hour window.

Mine was up 4/4/2024 and I was able to renew so I am good till 4/4/25 now. Had to find out which card had the offer - it was my AmEx Delta card.

Yes this website is inscrutable and horrible to navigate and could only be the product of a giant giga corporation. The only utility of this paid membership is to automatically route deliveries to a UPS pick up point. So, if you live in the ghetto, this may be worth it to avoid the money and the hassle and arguing with ups and Amazon that someone stole your package. Please note that not all UPS-managed shipments are eligible for rerouting.
