If you find the RX 7900 XT or XTX onsale at good price (eg: 7900 XT under $750), I don't recommend you wait for better deal. Ban hammer [wccftech.com] is coming down on the RX 7900 XT, XTX and W7900 and many other AMD MI cards just like the RTX 4090. This means, the RX 7900 series price will go up soon.

Why would a ban on selling to China result in higher US prices? The ban is already in effect. The 4090 prices shot up because in the lead up to the ban taking effect nVidia had shifted most of their production of the 4090 off to China to get as many of those sales as they could. That led to lower supply for everyone else and higher prices in the US.
